We normally like to kick off our emails with some fun, light-hearted anecdotes but given what is happening in Northern California right now, this week proved rather difficult to do so. With fires blazing through much of the state’s most prestigious wine-growing regions, our thoughts are with our industry colleagues, their families, friends, and communities. We’d like to take this time to feature a wine that not only encompasses the region’s amazing quality, but will also aid in the relief efforts so that their wine, and more importantly, their lives return to normal.
Paul Dolan Zinfandal 2013 – Packed with juicy berry flavors, this outgoing wine blends great freshness and pure grape flavors with a lip-smacking texture of tannins and acidity that keep it well balanced. It resembles black berry, raspberry and boysenberry juices, has a tangy mouthfeel and lingering, tingly finish.
