Even though it’s still techinically fall, the cold temperatures seem to have arrived quickly. If you are anything like us, it’s got you wanting to grab a book and curl up next to the fire with a big, bold glass of red wine to keep you warm. We’re here to help with this week’s Thirsty Thursday wine!

A 100% Grenache from 80-100-year-old vines, the 2013 La Granacha Vieilles Vignes Signargues Cotes du Rhone-Villages (say that five times fast!) comes from old vine Grenache that is aged eight months in concrete prior to being bottled. Bottled unfined and unfiltered, it reveals a dark ruby/plum color, a sumptuous bouquet of black raspberry and black cherry jam, and a naked, unmanipulated, fleshy mouthfeel that is pure fruit, Provencal herbs, licorice and spice. This luscious, medium to full-bodied beauty is an ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE VALUE!
