One could argue Milwaukee’s Good City is currently Wisconsin’s hottest new brewery. Ever since Motto Pale Ale hit our shelves early this year, it’s been a constant in the fridge of hop heads, and the follow up offerings only cemented their status as a new brewery to keep an eye on.
For the first time, we’ll have Good City in the store to sample 3 of their hop-forward offerings, Risk, Reward and the previously aforementioned Motto. Jeff from Good City will be here to chat and pour samples from 4-6, here’s the deal on what he’s pouring:
Motto: An all-Mosaic hopped Pale Ale with big ‘ol Grapefruit aromatics, and low bitterness. Truly juicy.
Risk: An IPA hopped with Centennial (think Bell’s Two-Hearted) and Simcoe (think Founders Harvest Ale). More pine than citrus, but still delicious.
Reward: A Double IPA hopped with Citra, Amarillo and Eureka, this one has “dank” written all over it. For those seeking a little extra oomph.
