Now that the weather has finally warmed up, it’s only natural that we’re in the mood for some delicious white wine! Grown with a Certified Alsatian strain of Pinot Gris and produced with the consultation of David Ramey, of Ramey Wine Cellars, the Brassfield Pinot Gris 2014 has achieved something truly remarkable. It’s thirst-quenching enough to keep up with the sun’s warmth but still luscious enough to combat any cool breeze – making it perfect for this time of year!
This Pinot Gris gushes with aromas of honeysuckle, Golden Delicious apples, and melon. A long and elegant mouthfeel balances bright flavors of lemon curd, toasted hazelnuts, and nectarines. The Alsatian strains lead to more body and a creaminess not usually associated with the grape while still wrapping up with that refreshing finish we’ve come to expect. This Pinot Gris pairs great with a Friday fish fry, seared scallops or simply just pulling out patio furniture!
